STORY OF THE ARTIST
Kuki Arbel is a designer and artist, a graduate of "Parsons School of Design" in New York, majoring in urban design, and interior architecture.
She was among the founders of the environmental protection service in the 1970s, within the framework of the Prime Minister's Office, and then for over 30 years, rebuilt and redesigned educational environments, and guided teachers in the importance of the visual message for school learning: in Jerusalem Lod Ramla and Rishon Lezion, within the framework of the Ministry of Education. Kuki specialized in the effect of color in the environment on human behavior, and lectured extensively on the subject.

At the same time, she was engaged in interior architecture, and her spare time devoted to the artistic work, the fruits of which she first exhibited in the city gallery of her city - Herzliya, in a retrospective exhibition.
My Philosophy

I have been searching for my entire life how to combine art and design - with unique techniques.
Combining painting, photography, and various materials in computer processing, while trying to emphasize by composition, the intensity of the material.
Trying to examine the essence of human movement in the environment in which we live, out of context, and out scale.
My search let me to the use of unconventional materials, such as aluminum, where I could emphasize the quality of metal and painting. All this in an integrated technique.
At the same time, while looking for more solutions, I take staged photos, and use various accessories and materials, without using the sophisticated photography technologies available today. This is how a complex image is created - without computer manipulation.
Anton Shastakov gave me the guidance and technical assistance, and I thank him for opening the world of computing to me.
Art is opposite to my life work as a designer. Out of context, out of scale.
